John Smith, alumnus of NH Beta at UNH, generously donated $500 to the chapter after meeting with us during our charter ceremony, held in Huddleston Hall on November 14, 2009. Jack was very supporting of our newly chartered chapter, as this money was used to furnish the Richard M. Hooker Memorial Library, located in the basement of the chapter, as well as help fund for the national charting of the New Hampshire Beta-Seacoast Alumni Association. Graduating in 1950, Jack stands as an example of an alumnus who has not forgotten about the chapter, and to be a part of something bigger than ourselves.
