It houses 32 gentlemen, sports a kitchen, library, dining room, foyer, basement, gym, first floor bathroom, second floor bathroom, chapter room, and two floors, eight rooms each, in which brothers live on.
What it means to be in SΑΕ
We’re the guys who live in the beautiful house on the corner of Garrison and Madbury. We’re the guys that pride themselves on what it really means to be a fraternity. To be a part of a fraternity is to make everlasting bonds and become part of something that is completely beyond yourself. You join a fraternity and you become part of a team that works towards two goals; the success of the organization and the success of its members in every way imaginable.
We are the guys who live by what it means to be a True Gentlemen.
If you’re are looking for a Hollywood-type-fraternity fantasy, you’re in the wrong place. So don’t continue any further
Here at SAE we’re open, honest, and genuinely looking to expand our brotherhood. We’re not seeking any one type of guy to welcome into our family. We’re more focused on the person that’s personally motivated, ambitious, dedicated, and wants to become a part of something that will truly change your life.
If anything above here has caught your eye, don’t be afraid to ask questions. Leave them in the contact us comment box, write on the Facebook group wall, or seek one of our members out. Any of us would be more than willing to answer questions you have about SAE, Greek Life, or UNH in general.
Rush
The process where potential new members decide if Greek life is for them, and if so which organization is for them.
Pledging
Eight weeks when new members are challenged to learn what it means to be in Sigma Alpha Epsilon. Pledges learn the history of the fraternity, memorize the True Gentleman, and perform team building activities designed to build and strengthen the brotherhood between them. One important note: pledges are never hazed. If anyone is uncomfortable with a given pledge activity, they are encouraged to speak up as part of the fraternity’s new initiative We Stand Together.
